Arthur W. Rowe Best Paper Award

In 2018, the Society for Cryobiology established the Arthur W. Rowe Best Paper Award, to recognize the most outstanding paper published annually in Cryobiology. The award is named for founding member of the Society, Arthur W. Rowe, who has provided immeasurable service to the Society for Cryobiology, including 22 years as Cryobiology Editor-in-Chief from 1972-1994.
To recognize and publicize outstanding research published in Cryobiology.
No application is necessary. All papers published in Cryobiology during the 2020 calendar year are automatically considered for the award. The editorial board of Cryobiology will review all published papers and select the winner. The announcement of the winning paper will be made at CRYO2021.
The corresponding author of the winning paper will be invited to present their research in a special awards session and receive a plaque in recognition of the award.
